Our soy candles for skin care are hand-poured from a blend of pure soy, cosmetic grade fruit and nut oils and fragrance. This produces a clean-burning, low-soot sensory skin care experience.
Think of it as a solid lotion that burns like a candle. It has the ingredients you'd find in a hand and body cream, but in an entirely new form! It isn't paraffin or beeswax, so you can actually dip into the melted oil and rub it into your skin! You do not need to scrape it back off like a paraffin dip...it will absorb just like a lotion, cream or butter!
There are so many benefits to using soy! Soy beans are a sustainable crop farmed in the USA. Did you know that traditional candles are made from a petroleum based by-product of refined gasoline? Ew! Soy is non-toxic and clean. Soy also has a low melting point of only 2 degrees above body temperature! So, it takes longer to burn and produces less black soot and smoke. This also means that with our proprietary blend of body-safe soy and natural oils, you can use the warm melted blend to moisturize your skin as the candle burns down. The ultimate re-use and recycle!

Directions: Light your candle and burn for 2-3 hours, allowing a full melt pool to develop and fill the air with fragrance. Then blow it out and dip into the melted wax. Massage the warm oil onto your hands, feet or any dry areas. This is so soothing to dry cuticles, toes and heels! Use liberally, often, and with a friend.
Keep wick trimmed to 1/4" and replace the cap when not in use.
When your candle has burned down to 1/4" of wax remaining, wash the jar out thoroughly. Soy cleans up easily with soap and hot water. (You do not have to "freeze out" the wax like in other candle jars.) Then re-use it, recycle it, or return it to us. Just don't throw it away!
Now the fun part... the candle label is embedded with wildflower seeds! This handmade paper is made from the bark of a renewable plant that regenerates to maturity 4-5 years after harvesting. It is compiled with at least 50% recycled content and is 100% earth friendly! See FAQ page for directions on how to plant the paper.
